Great news for "Twilight" fans as Pattinson and Stewart have admitted that they would like to do another film in the series.
A "Twilight" sequel could be in the making as in a recent interview with Elle Paris, Pattinson talked about the prospects of doing another "Twilight" film. The interview was posted and translated on his website.
When asked if he would like to do "Twilight," sequel, Pattinson said, "Why not." However, when asked about Stewart, the British actor declined to talk about her.
Meanwhile, in August, "American Ultra" star also admitted that she would love to star in "Twilight," sequel. In an interview with Uproxx, Stewart said that she would consider doing the movie if other cast members from the "Twilight" wanted to do it.
"I was so genuinely, heavily entrenched in (Twilight), and not in a way that felt like an obligation. Even though after the first one, which stood alone, it lasted a long time. It's hard to speak to a five-year period in a few sentences, but I loved doing it," said the "Equals" actress.
"But that doesn't mean I want to keep doing it. But if other people? Yeah, sure. To be honest with you: I would be interested. I'd be kind of fascinated, but it wouldn't emotionally affect me one way or the other," added Stewart.
On the other hand, "Twilight" stars have thriving film careers. Stewart's films "American Ultra," "Clouds of Sils Maria," "Camp X-Ray," and "Equals," have established her as an actress. Pattinson's "The Childhood of a Leader," received critical acclaim and he is starring in forthcoming film "The Lost City of Z."
The exes also have moved on in romantic life as well. Pattinson is engaged to singer Tahliah Debrett Barnett, professionally known as FKA Twigs and Stewart is rumored to be in a relationship with her BFF Alicia Cargile.
