Fox is set to premiere a yet another promising new show "Grandfathered," starring none other than John Stamos, on Sept. 29 at 7:30 pm.
Stamos, who shot to fame as Jesse Katsopolis in 1990s ABC series "Full House," is set to play the role of Jimmy Martino, a 50-year-old businessman who has almost everything, a thriving restaurant, a bee of adoring women and no commitments to hold him down.
Martino's happy-go-lucky life goes into shambles when a young boy Gerald, Josh Peck from the Nickelodeon sitcom 'Drake and Josh," turns up at his doorstep with his infant daughter in tow to announce himself as his son.
What will follow is likely to be an emotionally comic rollercoaster ride as Martino and Gerald will try to get along with each other while trying to take care of the baby girl.
"Grandfathered" is forecasted as one of the must-watch family drama series this season, which will be directed by Chris Koch, Food World News reported.
Undoubtedly it will be interesting to watch Stamos once again in the company of little ones, failingly trying to be a baby whisperer. He was last seen cooing a baby on screen on "Full House," where Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen famously played his niece.
"If the kids start to cry, I do whisper in their ears - 'I made a couple of twins a lot of money," The Salt Lake Tribune quoted the 52-year-old actor as saying.
