Bethesda is planning to keep "Fallout 4" fans hooked beyond the launch date as the developer confirms DLCs, season pass and mods coming next year. Following the launch, the developer has revealed that it will regularly update the game with post-launch expansions as well as the introduction of mods to all its platforms.
The developer will followthe tradition it has held for "Skyrim," which comes in the form of updates after the game's release. These updates will include both fixes and added features. To get the balance between what is good for the game and what the players want to see in the game, Bethesda also shared via its official blog that the team will be looking forward to community feedback to add some requests in the updates.
There will also be downloadable content, and for "Fallout 4," Bethesda has promised a Season Pass. As of writing, the developer promised that all the "Fallout 4" DLCs will be included in a $30 Season Pass. But even with that price point, Bethesda promised that the content will follow the same trend that it did with its previous titles, to roll out DLCs that are at least $40 all in all.
Modders will be happy to know that there will be a Creation Kit coming for "Fallout 4" as early as next year. Way back in June, modders already knew that there will be mods coming to the Xbox One. But this time, the PS4 edition has also been finally confirmed, VG 24/7 reported.
According to the developer, one of the thrusts in the games is to provide players with a sense of freedom in experiencing the world. This is where modding has always played a major role in. Following the tradition of older "Fallout" titles, "Fallout 4" will be open for modding, with the Creation Kit coming first to PC. It will be followed by mods on the Xbox One and finally onto the PS4.
