The CW recently released a teaser for "The Vampire Diaries" season 7, and it featured Caroline and Stefan in an intense make out session.
Fans immediately speculated that there is a possibility that Caroline (Candice Accola) could be pregnant with Stefan's (Paul Wesley) child. This could be the case because the actress is pregnant in real life.
According to TV Line, the promo clip also featured Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan talking about the Heretics, which is led by their mom Lily (Annie Wersching).
In the teaser, Damon could be heard wondering how long the Heretics would stay in Mystic Falls. At first, Stefan was very positive when he said that they should not worry about the Siphoner-vampire hybrids because they would not disturb them as long they don't also disturb the group.
However, the remainder of the clip featured arguments, fights and killings in Mystic Falls that the characters could tolerate.
Meanwhile, executive producer Julie Plec recently talked about the upcoming installment.
According to her, the new season will focus more on the other characters now that Elena (Nina Dobrev) is no longer part of the story.
Plec also revealed that Stefan and Caroline would try if an actual relationship would for them or not.
Additionally, Damon and Bonnie (Kat Graham) will rely on each other in the wake of Elena's demise. Fans are speculating that Damon and Bonnie could also be linked together romantically.
"The Vampire Diaries" season 7 also stars Zach Roerig, Michael Malarkey and more.
"The Vampire Diaries" season 7 will premiere on The CW on Oct. 8 at 8 p.m. ET.
