"Pokemon Go," the next generation's location-based mobile "Pokemon" game for smartphones, is set to hit the Android phones and iOS in 2016. It will feature a smart watch that will be able to catch Pokemon in the real world with the use of Bluetooth.
"Pokemon Go" mobile game will allow users to catch, discover, battle and trade Pokemon real time, Tech Times reported. This is much like the reality video game "Ingress," which was produced by Niantic Labs for iOS and Android on July 2014.
"Pokemon Go" is going to be available for Android and iOS as premium game; the game may be downloaded free like "Pokemon Shuffle" for mobiles, The Guardian reported. "Pokemon Go" also includes purchases of in-app as soon as the game is launched in 2016.
"Pokemon Go" is accompanied by a smart watch device that will let users to play the game with no need to operate the smartphones. This is called "Pokemon Go Plus" with screen shaped like location icon, capped with Pokeball emblem.
"Pokemon Go Plus" will work by pairing with Android devices and iOS through the use of Bluetooth. When a Pokemon is detected nearby, the smartwatch will vibrate and then flashes to send the alert to the user. "Pokemon Go Plus" players may catch Pokemon by clicking a button. The price, however, is not known yet.
"Pokemon Go" is set for release on the App Store for Play Store for Android and iOS next year. The mobile game is a joint venture of Niantics, The Pokemon Company and Nintendo.
