"Man Of Steel" director Zack Snyder said that Marvel's "Ant-Man" is merely a "flavor of the week" movie compared to "Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice."
In an interview with The Daily Beast, Snyder took a big shot at Marvel Universe's "Ant-Man" because it is not a real comparison between the characters such as Batman and Superman. The former movie is merely a very distinguished competition compared to the latter.
Snyder felt that Superman and Batman surpass any superhero movies because "Ant-Man" is only a flavor of the week as the first two have always been the most mythological superheroes on the silver screen.
It has been revealed that Snyder discussed whether "Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice" would feature more the character of Batman than Superman on the screen time. The reason was that the Batman that was in Christopher Nolan's movies was different and thus needs a little bit more of explaining, according to Access Hollywood. Besides, there has already been a complete movie about Superman like "The Man Of Steel."
Moreover, "Batman" character should be understand more where he was with everything, which moves even more to the beginning, and it even goes back out as it goes on every time.
Aside from this, the first part of "Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice" is Warner Bros.' ambitious plan to create a shared cinematic superhero universe just like the huge box office success of the "Avengers," "Iron Man," and "Captain America."
The movie "Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice" that would hit the theaters on Mar. 25, 2016 would further develop the characters of Superman (Henry Cavill) and would introduce Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonderwoman (Gal Gadot), and Aquaman (Jason Momoa), the cornerstones of "The Justice League," the DC super team.
