Keanu Reeves' "Matrix" co-star Essie Davis is the latest actor confirmed to be added in the "Game of Thrones" season 6 cast. The Australian star is rumoured to be playing Cersei Lannister, which was originally played by Lena Headey and Nell Williams.
Recently, Davis was seen in full costume as a Queen of Westeros. She is said to play a traveling theater troupe member in Braavos staging a play titled "The Bloody Hand," The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
It is in this play-within-a-show in "Game of Thrones" season 6 where the Australian actress takes on the role of Cersei Lannister. It is also intended to show some events seen over the course of the last five seasons of the HBO hit series.
