Two topless feminist protesters stormed a Muslim conference being held in Paris to demonstrate against the themes of submission regarding women being discussed at the gathering.
Video footage that has emerged from the incident depicts the women being kicked and dragged off stage, according to Daily Mail.
The conference was held in the North West of Paris in France where the two unnamed women who were naked from the waist upward jumped on to stage as a mark of protest.
The women believed to be between the ages of 31 and 25 are seen in video footage grabbing the microphones on stage and punching the air while exposing slogans on their bodies. The two men leading the conference are seen stepping towards the back of the stage.
While both women had writings on their bodies one of the writings translated to mean "Nobody makes me submit." The event descended into chaos as the women were hauled away while dramatic footage has revealed one man kicking one of the women while struggling on the ground.
The two Imams leading the discussion were addressing the issue of men beating their wives and about issues of submission according to the teachings of Islam, according to Mirror.
The two women reportedly belong to Femen a feminist group who are notorious for the use of nudity to draw attention to issues. However, many feminist groups in the past have criticized Femen for its use of nudity to approaching controversial issues especially issues surrounding minority communities.
