After watching on YouTube Jihadi John decapitate in October 2014 British hostages David Haines and Alan Henning, a 15-year-old British teen and her 29-year-old Iraqi boyfriend stabbed her mother to death using a kitchen knife.
Mirror reports that Lisa Borch and Bakhtiar Mohammed Abdulla knifed Tina Romer Holtegaard at least 20 times at their house in Kvissel, Denmark. A Danish court convicted on Monday the pair for murder.
Lisa got nine years prison term, eight of which would be in a regular jail and the first year in an institution for young offenders. Abdulla was sentenced to 13 years, after which he would be deported.
According to Lisa's twin, who has moved out of the house because of Tina and Lisa's constant fights, Lisa even showed her the knife that she planned to use on their mother, but she thought it was just a sick joke.
Forensic examination of Lisa's computer showed that she viewed Mohammed Emwazi's beheading video the whole night before the she killed her mother. However, after the multiple stabbing, Lisa even called the police and claimed seeing a white man fleeing after she allegedly heard her mother scream.
However, when the police arrived, they found Lisa fiddling with her mobile phone, reports the New York Post. Abdulla was no longer at the house, but his fingerprints were found at the crime scene.
Tina has been trying to convince Lisa to break off with Abdulla and live the life of a normal teen. Had the pair not been arrested, the two even planned to fly to Syria and be jihadists for the Islamic State.
Prosecutor Karina Skou described Tina's stabbing as "cold blooded, ice cold and committed in a bestial manner."
