Ronda Rousey was recently at the UFC 193 media day at Etihad Stadium to promote her Nov. 15 fight alongside Holm and UFC president Dan White. The UFC bantamweight champion who co-starred with the late Paul Walker in "Furious 7" had some bloopers while talking about Holm.
"It'll definitely be the biggest challenge I've had yet," News.com.au quoted Rousey as saying. She added that many of those she has fought before do not have the footwork that Holm has and she is a great counter-puncher so she cannot hold anything back.
"If I came right in her face right away," Rousey said referring to Holm and immediately realized that she may be misconstrued. "Wow, that sounded terrible. Oh, my God. You know what I mean. How do I even say this right now?"
After giggling at her own muddle-up followed by the crowd's shouts of encouragement for her, Rousey was quick to rephrase her previous statement saying, "I can't really be aggressive right away because Holly is a counter-puncher. She is a person that I need to be extremely careful with."
In addition, Rousey pointed out that Holm is a 19-time WBA and WBF boxing champion but not a 19-time MMA champion. It is expected that Rousey's seventh world title defence against Holm on Nov. 15, which is the headline fight for UFC 193 at Etihad Stadium, will break all UFC attendance records.
Aside from her upcoming UFC fight, Rousey is also set to star in "Road House" and "Mile 22." Previously, she starred in "Entourage" and "Furious 7."
Moreover, Rousey recently modelled for Sports Illustrated and for her, Paige VanZant is one of the MMA fights who should be considered for the magazine's Swimsuit Issue.
