"The Tonight Show" host Jimmy Fallon seems to have been snubbed by mega star Justin Bieber when he backed out of a pre-planned gig for his chat show, creating chaos in the former's production schedule.
Fallon was talking to Billboard as he graced the cover of the music magazine when revealed that Bieber was scheduled to act in a brief comedy sketch when he stopped by his show to perform his single "What Do You Mean?" on Sept. 2.
Evidently unknown of the fact that Bieber will back out last minute, Fallon has even declared the same in social media with his tweet, "Tonight: Doing something fun with @Justin Bieber."
However, it appears that the "Baby" hit maker changed his mind at the last minute and refused to appear in the gig for the talk show. Although the reason for his withdrawal is not yet confirmed, it appears that the 22-year-old singer got cold feet and decided otherwise.
"And I have to apologize to the crew guys who built the set and the wardrobe people and everyone," complained Fallon, who further added that he, however, understands that Bieber is not an actor and "he's here to sing."
The recent news comes as a blow to the Canadian singer who is trying to rebuild his image in the media through his apology-filled appearance in "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and high-on-emotion teary performance at 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.
Meanwhile, Bieber's popularity saw a new height when hundreds of girls, who were gathered outside a radio station in Paris on the morning of Sept. 17, Thursday, in hope to catch a glimpse of the singer, broke into a bloody brawl, TMZ reported.
Bieber was at the radio station to promote his latest single "What Do You Mean?" when a large group of girls started pushing and shoving one another, leaving at least one girl badly injured.
