Fans of the hit anime and manga "Attack on Titan" have been privileged to get two titles for the franchise already. Following "Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains," Koei Tecmo is also currently developing a new game of the same title as the manga source.
However, the title is already confirmed to come only on PlayStation platforms. Still hardcore fans of the franchise may still have hope to play the game even if they owners of only the Xbox One or PC. It appears that the developer has not yet definitively announced that the possibility of the game's release outside of the PlayStation family of consoles will not happen. Once the release in the west happens and the developer see a demand, it appears that the studio will considering releasing onto other platforms, DualShockers reported.
Those who are just following the Japanese anime with no current plans to read the manga need not worry. They can still play Koeo Tecmo's "Attack on Titan" game as the storyline has already been confirmed. Producer Hisashi Koiniuma has announced that the game will follow the events that are seen in the season one of "Attack on Titan, IGN reported.
The anime, also known by some fans by its original Japanese title "Shingeki no Kyojin," only saw one of the new abnormal titans as a confirmed fellow soldier in the Military Corps division. The female titan has already been revealed as Annie Leonhart, after a successful trap had been set by heroes Eren Jaegar, Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Artlet, as well as the rest of the troops.
There will be no spoilers from the currently running Japanese manga nor will there be elements taken from the recently shown live action film. "Attack on Titan" from Koei Tecmo will be released to the existing PlayStation platforms, the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita sometime in 2016.
