Microsoft already announced the official release date of the highly anticipated Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller, along with the launching of Halo 5: Guardians.

Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller is slated to launch on Oct. 27 at a price of $149.99. Microsoft announced the existence of the controller during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) event last June. The full specification of the controller is designed toward accurate gaming and is set to be fully customisable, allowing players to alter it based of their preferences, according to International Business Times.

The controller features hair-trigger locks, enhanced thumbstick sensitivity and swappable components that include two different D-pads. It has a button for remapping the controller. It also lets you adjust the trigger minimum and maximum values and button assignments. The Xbox One Elite controller also works on PC.

The paddles in this new controller can be used as an alternative button to perform more commands without taking the thumbs off the analogs. The Xbox One Elite Controller will also ship with extra interchangeable paddles. Players can save customized controller profiles to a special app and two profiles can be loaded onto the controller, and be able to switch between them with a new Profile Switch system. It will also feature analog sticks with different sizes for different games.

The controller will also be part of Xbox One Elite Bundle, which is slated to arrive on Nov. 3, Gamespot reported. The bundle includes Xbox Elite Wireless Controller, carrying case, set of four paddles, set of six thumbsticks (two standard, two tall, and two domed), set of two D-pads (faceted and standard) USB cable AA batteries, and Quick Setup Guide and Product Manual.

Players who will order the bundle can expect several other parts to change the specialisation of the controller, including various D-Pads and analog sticks. The bundle costs $500 and can be purchased on different major retailers, including Microsoft's own store.
