Content publishers are not amused by the latest release of Apple's AAPL -087 percent iOS 9.0. On the other hand, Apple has shown a lot of credence with its briskly-growing tech trends, the new iOS 9.0 being one of them.

iOS has been one of the successes of Apple one reason being its fast adoption rate since its recent release. The new iOS 9.0 has fresh attractive features which include a capability to conduct Face Time call while watching a video at the same time, a power-saving mode, a smarter Siri and an improved Apple Maps, CNN reported.

Nonetheless, iOS 9.0 new ad blocking feature has not pleased everyone as such. Online advertisers and online content publishers have prospected doom to their online income realms. To some, this is where the war between the online community and publishers who monetize intellectual property begins.

According to reports, the iOS 9.0 does not block content automatically. More exactly, it features tools that developers can use to develop ad blockers specifically on Apple's Safari browser for the new iOS 9.

Ad blocking has not really started with the iOS 9.0 but had entered "hockey stick" mode three years back. Not only that, it has been rising in a scale of 40 percent every year ever since. For instance, Adblock Plus, an ad-blocking app, has been downloaded over 300 million times, Forbes reported.

A report has also confirmed that 29 percent of iOS users have already started to block web ads on their desktop and laptop computers. Well, iOS has just made the war hearty.

Online copyright infringement and ad blocking have been said to be the results of technological innovations that have been claimed to rob producer's revenue in terms of copyrighted material. iOS 9.0 is one of the victims so far and it is expected to add more loss to the already experienced $21 billion of revenue annually.

Although the new iOS 9.0 feature was claimed to improve overall user experience, analyses are asking if iOS 9.0 is supporting piracy.
