"NCIS: Los Angeles" season 6 ended with a cliffhanger, and fans have been eager to see what happens in season 7. In season 6 finale, there were fascinating revelations about G. Callen's (Chris O'Donnell) family.
Agent Callen's father is indeed alive and it is his responsibility to find his family. As a result, season 7 will put Callen in the spotlight in his quest to find his father. The Agent will embark on his ambition to get answers concerning his father to the extent that he goes rogue when given a task and eventually gets tangled with the CIA and Russian criminals.
Seemingly, Callen going rogue will be too big for his team to bear. Hetty Lange (Linda Hunt) will possibly assign one of her team members to track down Callen.
In an interview with TV Guide, show creator Shane Brennan said that Lange and Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) will be kept in the dark concerning Callen's mission, and will wonder why there is no communication from Callen whatsoever.
Brennan said, "The boy she took under her wing when he was 15, and she has nurtured him and cared for him and guided him through his entire adult life ... they reach a point in this episode where he will not tell her what he's doing, and she's making demands on him to find out."
Reportedly, this is not the first time Callen is facing hardships but indeed it is his first time to deal with a personal problem.
At the moment, fans meet a Callen that does not trust in his mentor, leaving the question of whether he will find a confidante in Hanna.
"NCIS: Los Angeles" season 7 was aired on Sept. 21 Monday on CBS at 10 p.m. Fans can watch the first episode on CBS Live.
