Android 6.0 Marshmallow will be released this fall. The new Android version comes with improvements and new features that will make a user's device run better and efficiently than before. Here is the Android Marshmallow release news for Sony, Nexus, HTC, Motorola, Samsung and LG devices.
It is expected that the search giant Google will bring the Android Marshmallow along with Nexus 6 (2015) aka Nexus 6P and Nexus 5 (2015) aka Nexus 5X this fall. According to many reports, the first devices that will get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update are the Nexus tablets and Nexus phones such as Nexus 6 and Nexus 5.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes with several changes such as Google Drive backup, fingerprint support, overhauled application permissions and extended battery life.
Samsung devices such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S5 will get the Android Marshmallow update in early 2016, according to reports.
According to International Business Times, the LG G3 will skip the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update and will jump straight to the Android Marshmallow.
Devices such as Droid Turbo, Moto X Style and Moto G will also get the Android Marshmallow update. Rumors suggest that the Android M update will get released for these devices before the end of this year or early 2016.
Furthermore, according to Gospel Herald, HTC One M9, One M8 and One M+ will get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.
Sony devices such as the Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet, Sony Xperia Z3+ and Xperia Z3 will also get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.
