New "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate" details will feature a new trailer, members of the Templar order, a transgender character and "Jack The Ripper" DLC.
Ubisoft streamed the new story trailer for "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate," where it showcases several of Jacob and Evie Frye's targets in the Templar order. The Templar order in London, during its Industrial age in 1868, consist seven high society figures, each controlling important sections within London. Rupert Farris is in charge of the steel mills and iron factories in the country, while Pearl Attaway controls every transportation system in London. Doctors John Elliotson and Drew David Brewster are rumored to be conducting illegal experiments with people in the country. Unscrupulous Bank owner Philip Twopenny, corrupt politician James Brudnell and dangerous crime lord, Maxmell Roth.
The trailer also introduces the Templar Order's new leader Crawford Starrick as the Frye siblings plans to eradicate each member of the Templar Order and free its citizens from their control. To complete their mission they will need the help not just from Assassin Order, but from its citizens as well. They will form gangs to fight the gangs ruled by the Templar and convince them to join their side and free London.
In other news, Ubisoft revealed its first transgender character within the game series. According to the developers, supporting character Ned Wynert has been confirmed as a trans male within "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate," Eurogamer reported.
Ned Wynert will serve as one the game's quest givers, as Ubisoft stated that the decision to put Ned in the game was due to gaming fans complaining about not having female character option in the Assassin's Creed games.
Creative director Marc Alexis-Cote talked about the importance of the "Jack The Ripper" DLC within the game as several gaming fans were not happy on how character is handled and its inconsistency in its historical background, Gamerant reported. He stated that having London's infamous killer would be a perfect story within "Syndicate" as history revealed that Jack's string of killings were not yet present until 1888, which will set the game in 20 year gap between the original game and the Jack's reign of terror.
"Assassin's Creed: Syndicate" will release in November 19 for the PS4, Xbox One and the PC platforms.
