Game developer Crystal Dynamics will release "Rise of the Tomb Raider" soon, which fans asserted may be the best "Tomb Raider" video game to date.
After being trapped in the cursed island of Yamatai in "Tomb Raider", main video game protagonist Lara Croft went from being a naive archaeology student to a hardened survivor. In "Rise of the Tomb Raider" Croft will now set on a fiercer journey to find out what really happened in Yamatai before she set foot on the said place.
Determined to reveal the truth about her own experiences and her father's research, "Rise of the Tomb Raider" will feature the young survivor uncovering more lost civilizations and secrets against the shadowy organization known as Trinity. According to Wired, Croft's newfound goal and skills will bring a more exciting and complex character to its fans.
In 2013, the reboot of "Tomb Raider" initially angered fans of the original "Tomb Raider" game series. Fans did not like Lara's new background as a struggling young archaeologist who chartered the cursed Yamatai Island.
In "Rise of the Tomb Raider," Croft will enter a whole new world that is entirely distinct from the preceding "Tomb Raider" games. According to Engadget, the game will be focusing on frozen wastelands in different locations where the young archaeologist will face threat in the form of animals, people and the environment.
In addition, the new video game's creative director Noah Hughes said that "Rise of the Tomb Raider" will give the gamers a taste of virtual tourism. Hughes also said that the producers have place a lot of time conception the cool places that Croft will travel in as she unlocks more secrets that may lead her to the fountain of youth.
"Rise of the Tomb Raider" will be released on Nov.10.
