It was confirmed that Kaley Cuoco, 29, and tennis played Ryan Sweeting, 28, called it quits almost a week after Penny (Cuoco) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) got married on the hit CBS comedy series "Big Bang Theory" season 9 premiere.
In a statement obtained by People, a rep for Cuoco said, "Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting have mutually decided to end their marriage. They ask for privacy at this time. No further statement will be issued regarding this matter."
Cuoco and Sweeting married at a fire-and-ice-themed wedding in Santa Susana, Calif., on Dec. 31, 2013. Two weeks after the wedding, Sweeting got Cuoco's first name and their wedding date tattooed on his arm, according to Entertainment Tonight.
Before Sweeting, Cuoco dated Galecki from 2007 to 2009 while their "Big Bang Theory" characters Leonard and Penny were also dating. After Galecki, Cuoco dated addiction specialist Josh Resnik. They got engaged in 2011 but they called it quits in 2012, and while married to Sweeting, Cuoco remained friends with Galecki.
