Actor Jason Momoa recently revealed some interesting details about his costume of Aquaman from Zack Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."
The previously released images of Momoa's Aquaman featured dark colors and he was shown sporting knotty dreadlocks. "Well, there might be some bit of orange and green. A bit of respect to prior work, but I think he is meaner now and upset - look at what has been done to our oceans," said Momoa to The Robot's Voice. He added that Aquaman's costume is inspired by pollution, a reflection of the abuse to natural resources by humans.
Some months back, director Zack Snyder had released "Aquaman" images, which did not feature orange and green hues. It was speculated that this was intentional because they did not want to reveal the costume details too early. Currently, it seems as though the costume will feature a bit of the comic book appearance.
The 36-year old actor also confirmed that soon Aquaman toy figure will soon be available, reported Screen Rant.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will feature Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman and Gal Gadot in the role Wonder Woman. The other star cast consists of Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane. The film premieres on March 6. 2016.
Meanwhile, other films starring Momoa in the role Aquaman "Justice League: Part 1" hits the theatres in North America on Nov. 17, 2017, while "Aquaman" will release on July 17, 2018. There are also rumors that Jason Momoa will also be a part of "Suicide Squad."
