MacBook Air, Pro 2016 release may happen soon as previous models of MacBooks are still receiving deals and discounts.
Consumers who want to catch on MacBook discounts, today is the last of Best Buy's 2-Day Sale. The electronics retailer offers 13.3 inch screen display (Intel i5/4GB/128GB) for $799.99 from its original price of $999.99. The retailer also offers the13.3 MacBook Pro Retina with 8GB memory for $1,099 from its original price of $1,299.99. That is $200.99 off.
Best Buy also offers $150 discount on select iMac computers and $75 discount on select iPad Mini 3.
This is not the first time that MacBooks received generous discounts. Recently, the MacBooks received $300 to $600 from various retailers. It is believed that the price cuts hinted the imminent release of the new generation of MacBooks.
Some rumors claimed that the upcoming models of MacBook Air and Pro will arrive next month probably alongside the equally rumored iPad Air 3. Other reports suspect that the devices will herald early next year in order to maximize profits of the current MacBooks.
Meanwhile, some of the purported features of the MacBook Air 2016 are 13-inch and 15-inch screen displays, Intel Skylake-U chipset, OS X El Capitan, Type-C USB port, and an improved battery life. The laptops will most likely be equipped with Force Touch technology. The MacBook Air will be even thinner than last time.
Meanwhile, the MacBook Pro 2016 is also expected to pack almost the same specs and features, but with more powerful RAM.
However, Apple has not confirmed the aforementioned features and release date.
