iPad Air 3 release is reportedly pushed back in 2016 as Apple's most powerful tablet iPad Pro will be on sale in November.
According to Madd Apple, consumers will be able to get their hands on the tech giant's super-sized tablet in November. Due to this reason alone, it is speculated that the heavily-rumored ipad Air 3 will not be announced anytime soon. This is to prevent the iPad Air 3 from casting a shadow to the iPad Pro.
Previous reports claimed that the iPad Air 3 will be released in October or November.
Apple boasts iPad Pro as its most powerful iPad yet. It is paired with iPad Mini 4 as an alternative for buyers who want a tablet with smaller screen. Apple thinks that iPad Air 3 will cannibalize the sales of the new iPad Pro since the two tablets are closer in size.
However, if rumors proved to be true that Apple will release the iPad Air 3, its features reportedly include a stunning 4K screen display and an IP rating making it resistant to dust and water.
According to Tech News Today, iPad Air 3 will pack a 9.7 inch screen panel with 4096 x 2160 pixels. The screen will also have 401 ppi and 4:3 aspect ratio. The tablet is also water and dust resistant allowing it to repel dust and moisture that may break the tablet.
Other rumored iPad Air 3 features are: A9X processor, iOS 9, 16GB, 64GB, and 128GB variants, and 8 MP iSight camera at the back and 2.1 MP front-facing camera.
However, Apple has not confirmed the aforementioned specs and features.
