Blake Shelton lost a lot of weight following his divorce with Miranda Lambert. "The Voice" coach admitted that their break up has really taken a toll on him.
In an interview with Blair Garner on "America's Morning Show," via Us Weekly, Shelton shared that the whole ordeal has been very stressful for him. He admitted that he lost his appetite and tried to take on as many projects as he could to try to get his mind off the divorce.
Shelton said that he was not going to the gym 24/7 contrary to earlier reports. The "Home" singer explained that he just made a conscious decision to work harder.
Speaking to the Bobby Bones Show, Shelton shared that he still could not believe that his four-year marriage with Lambert was over. He said that everything happened so fast.
Shelton said that since they had a prenuptial agreement and did not have any kids, it only took a maximum of 10 days to finalize the divorce. The country singer revealed that they decided to get through the paperwork even before announcing it to the public.
"By the time anybody knew anything, it was over... It was done," he said.
Just hours after Shelton and Lambert announced that they were getting a divorce, the papers were finalized. Unlike other couples who turned bitter after the split, Shelton said that he and Lambert stayed as friends. He explained that they wanted to be "cool" about it, given that they shared several happy years together. Shelton added that they still stayed in touch and would always be there for each other.
