"Once Upon A Time" Season 5 will revolve around the enchanted forest character against the defiant, redhead princess, as what the trailer has revealed.
"Once Upon A Time" Season 5's upcoming episode has its fan teased by a short clip. Merida (Amy Manson) is ready for a face-off with Emma Swan (Jennifer Morisson), with no magic involved. "Brave" Disney character was stopped in her tracks after catching a Will O' the Wisp by Emma, who also needs the wisp.
Merida had her bow and arrow at the ready for Emma, while they were both in the Enchanted Forest. Merida then put down her weapon and offered Emma the wisp, saying she could have it, if she can beat her, mano-a mano, Entertainment Weekly reported.
"Once Upon A Time" season 5 scene is most likely Merida's first appearance on the highly successful, ABC's fairy tale drama series. Adam Horowitz, the show's co-executive producer and co-creator, revealed that Emma and Merida first met each other before the other characters met her.
"We're going to give you a little taste of where [Merida's] been since [the movie]... And then we're going to see that that somehow crosses with our people and with our 'Once Upon a Time' mythology," Horowitz told Entertainment Weekly.
"Once Upon A Time" season 5 will also have new characters in the show like Merlin, played by Elliot Knight, King Arthur by Liam Garrigan, as well as the lovely Queen Guinevere, played by Joana Metrass.
"Once Upon A Time" season premiere will be on Sept. 27 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
