Custom ROM developer Dark Lord recently released the updated version of Android Lollipop 5.1.1 for Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

This upgrade will enable the device to seep in the features of Samsung Galaxy Note 5. Besides the Note 5 features, this upgrade also includes many other notable features as well, according to Team Android.

These features include:

  • The Note 5 screen write option will be available
  • The Note 5 Air command, action memo, and smart select options will be available
  • The Galaxy S6 Edge Plus People Edge app will be available
  • The Touch Wiz change option will be available
  • Many performance tweaks will be included

The users must remember the following things before installing this update:

  1. Model number SM-N9005 LTE is eligible for this upgrade. Any other model number will get bricked if this upgrade is tried on that device.
  2. The users must make sure the device is rooted.
  3. Users must take a back up of all the files and media, if they do not want to lose the date.
  4. There should be enough memory in the device to handle this installation process.
  5. The device must be charged to at least 80 percent before beginning the installation process.

The following steps should be followed in order to install this upgrade in Samsung Galaxy Note 3:

1.      Download the Dark Lord Android Lollipop 5.1.1 custom ROM on PC.

2.      Connect the device to PC through the USB cord.

3.      Copy the upgrade's zip files in the device.

4.      Disconnect.

5.      Restart the device in recovery mode,

6.      Clear the cache of the device.

7.      Install the zip file.

8.      Restart the device

9.      The device is not equipped with the custom ROM upgrade.
