New "Final Fantasy 7" remake details have been revealed regarding turn-based combat, multiplayer features, possible DLC and 2017 launch date.
Several gaming fans have voiced out their concerns and suggestions regarding "Final Fantasy 7" remake's gameplay as Square Enix has promised that they will add several new features, while still retaining the game's original feel and will not have some radical changes. Game producer Yoshinori Kitase stated that "FFVII" remake's combat system will go through "trial and error" stages hinting that it will be an action-RPG gameplay similar to the current "Final Fantasy" games.
However, several gaming fan also wanted to retain the original turn-based combat gameplay for "Final Fantasy 7" remake as the system is one of the many features that made game series famous and replacing it will not retain the same feelings that they had when first played the game in the original PlayStation console, Gamerant reported.
The safest solution for Square Enix to handle the combat system is combined both old and new ones as they can retain the old school turn-based system with new twist and improvements to make it look better, while the retaining its original purpose.
Aside from the combat system. gaming fans also requested multiplayer gameplay for the mini-games in the Gold Saucer and possible DLC updates that could make the game more interesting for gamers that yet to be introduced in the Final Fantasy series, Vine Report reported.
Square Enix will develop "Final Fantasy 7" remake using the same software that was used in "Just Cause 3" and the CGI graphics of each character will drawn inspiration from "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children" film.
There is no official release date for "Final Fantasy 7" remake, but rumor has it that the game will launch next year due to the leaked Sony Advertisement, while it is predicted to be release in 2017 as it will celebrate the 20th anniversary of game.
