The Japanese video game publisher Bandai Namco announced that "One Piece: Burning Blood" will be arriving to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PlayStation Vita owners in the United States, Europe and Latin America.
Bandai Namco will publish the game to be developed by Spike Chunsoft. The latest "One Piece" installment was unveiled earlier in September at Sony's Tokyo Game Show (TGS) conference. It seems that "Burning Blood" is a one on one fighting game. It is built within the One Piece universe and fast-paced gameplay and unique "One Piece" elements will provide never-seen-before experience.
The upcoming game will include the playable characters, including Luffy, Ace, Sabo, Law, Crocodile, Enel, Bartolomeo and Doflamingo, IGN confirmed. More characters will be included as the game reaches its official release date in 2016.
It will feature an advanced battle system, which recreate the Devil Fruit abilities and Haki techniques that were present as well in the anime and manga, according to International Business Times. Devil Fruit abilities and Haki techniques will increase the character's ability to fight, nullify attacks and much more.
The video game trailer looks like "Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm," which fighting games were developed by Cyberconnect 2. Previous "One Piece" games were developed by Omega Force. The cel-shaded visuals look is similar with "One Piece" anime, and it features 3D environments that were similar as well with the "Ultimate Ninja Storm" games.
Meanwhile, "One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3" for the PS4, PS3, PS Vita and PC is now available. Also, Bandai Namco will launch "Dark Souls 3" in the U.S. in April, 2016.
