A new set of recently leaked images reveal the entire exterior and interior color of the upcoming 2016 Honda Civic. The leak detailed the nine confirmed colors, some of which are carryover from previous model while others came from the wide range of Honda products.
According to Auto Blog, four colors from previous Civic model were included; Modern Steel Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, White Orchid Pearl and Taffeta White. The Rallye Red color is added to the two-door line of Civic. Additional colors like the Lunar Silver Metallic and Aegean Blue Metallic were taken from the Honda Accord and Honda Fit, respectively.
Two new shades were introduced into the 2016 Honda Civic color palette; Burgundy Night Pearl and Cosmic Blue Metallic.
Every color will be available on every trim of the 2016 Honda Civic, except for the Tafetta White which is only available on the basic 2.0-liter LX model. Interior colors remain the same. Buyers can choose from ivory, black and gray.
Prior to the recent color leak, the 2016 Honda Civic was leaked after the car was carelessly parked on the street of Ann Arbor, Michigan. The leaked photograph was taken right on the backyard of Honda in Ann Arbor. The leaked photo also shows the 2016 Civic's C-shaped tail light which was presented as a new concept in the 2015 New York Auto Shows.
According to New York Daily News, the upcoming Civic will feature a turbocharged engine which will mark Honda's transition from the high-revving 4-cylinder engine.
The 2016 Honda Civic will be unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show scheduled to open its doors in November.
