LG G4 Pro release may happen anytime soon and it may capitalize on the fame of Nexus 5X smartphone from Google.
Finally, Google took the wraps off the latest Nexus devices. LG Electronics manufactured the just announced Nexus 5X smartphone. The South Korean company is a well-trusted partner of the tech giant and it will use the new Nexus 5X as a springboard for its LG G4 Pro phablet.
The LG G4 Pro is the company's hope to gain notoriety in the phablet market. Phablets gained popularity within the last few years thanks to its hybrid features. The device's full specs reportedly leaked in GFXBench showing that its hardware features are at par with other phablets in the market.
According to the benchmark, the device has a model number H900. Some of the specifications of the LG G4 Pro are 5.7-inch 2560x1440 quad-HD display, hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and 4 GB of RAM. Unfortunately, it will run with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS and not Android M.
The LG's phablet comes with 64GB internal storage with microSD expansion. The handset will also sport a 15 megapixel rear camera with 4K video capture and 5 megapixel front-facing shooter for video chat and selfies.
The price for the devices is not yet revealed, but the device is rumored to have friendly price tag compared to other flagship devices in the market. According to reports, LG G4 Pro release is on Oct. 1 alongside LG V10. However, none is final yet until LG's official announcement on the release date.
