There's still roughly two weeks before "Halo 5: Guardians" is released but Microsoft wants the gaming world to be all pumped up with the launch of its action-packed official trailer.
The 3-minute clip shows the gameplay of "Halo 5" along with some cut scenes, the Geekwire reports. If you will notice in the background they used a 2006 song from Muse.
Dubbed as "the greatest hunt in gaming history," the game is the third one created by 343 Industries, the brains behind "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" and "Halo 4."
"Halo 5" will be exclusively available to Xbox One. This will prompt Xbox 360 owners to finally upgrade to the latest console.
The trailer showed some intriguing lines such as "The Hero Becomes the Hunted." According to The Verge, it could be that Master Chief was asked to do something that required him to go rogue.
A team of four soldiers is now on a quest to find the people's warrior. The storyline is said to be more coherent than the previous Halo games.
The trailer reveals that colonies are being attacked and Spartan Locke is left to do two things-look for the Master Chief and find out the biggest threat to the entire galaxy.
Its non-stop action will keep you highly alert as you battle the Spartans, Forerunners, and Covenant while accomplishing different objectives.
"Halo 5: Guardians" will be released on October 27, 2015.
Microsoft has previously accepted pre-orders for "Halo 5" back in December 2014. Those who will buy the Limited Collector's Edition at $249.00 will get a commemorative numbered statue aside from the standard game and other additional content.
