"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's" first expansion pack will have players come up with strategies on how to win Shani's heart in "Hearts of Stone", as well as rumors on the Limited Edition being delayed.
CD Projekt RED announced that "Hearts of Stone" for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is now available for download in the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms. "Hearts of Stone" will focus on Geralt hunting down an immortal bandit lord, Olgierd von Everec as he tries to discover the secrets of his immortality and slay him for the bounty that has placed on him.
"Hearts of Stone" will have Geralt discover Runeworlds as each of them will have different effects on enemy units as well as solving puzzles. New weapons and gears are present in the expansion, as well as the return of Shani from "The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings".
Players who have played "Hearts of Stone" have shared several tactics on how to gain Shani as a love interest for Geralt. Gamers must first play through "Dead Man's Party" until they have reached the "A Midnight Clear" quest near the end of the wedding as Shani will be present in the event, UsGamer reported.
The goal of the players is cheer Shani up as they first have to read Shani's character entry in the Journal in order to find out what cheers her up. Geralt's Witcher senses will be handy in the quest as players must find three indicated items in the map pointing out what are the things that Shani likes. The best choice is the rowan plant since it is indicated she has a fondness for them.
Shani will be located in the barn and give her the present. Shani will engage in some introspective conversations with Geralt. Players must anwser "You've got me" when prompted, then they will go outside for a walk. There will be a timed dialogue, the players must answer "It was alright". The next dialogue answer should be "Unfit’ - what’s that mean?”, while another timed dialogue they must answer “That was Vlodomir, not me”, then "Let her down easy. I prefer you” afterwards.
A romantic tension between Geralt and Shani will happen and players must answer “Better by a mile” and , “Kiss sure didn’t sate me” in another timed dialogue. When the players reached the pier they must answer either You probably shouldn’t mix,” or “You’re right, let’s empty it”. From there Shani will tale Geralt to the moon and depending on the answer in the final dialogue, a romantic scene will occur. After that Geralt will have one last conversation with Shani on the beach as both characters get dressed and leave the area, ending the quest.
In other news, the Limited Edition for "Hearts of Stone" will be delayed in United States as CD Projekt RED stated that the reason for the delay is due to a "logistical problems" that will affect the shipment of the game for several days after its scheduled launch date, Gamespot reported.
The delay has also affected the Limited Box Edition of the expansion from GameStop as CD Projekt RED quickly apologized to gaming fans will solve the problem with video game retail store as soon as possible. The Limited Box Edition cost around $19.99 with bonus items like a new digital code, two Gwent card decks and its own rule book.
