"Pokémon Go" will be arriving next year to iOS and Android smart devices. The news had made the fans of Nintendo and Pokémon seemingly happy.
"Pokémon Go," the first ever-mobile app in the franchise, will let its fans discover and catch Pokémon monsters in their real world environment. Using augmented reality, the game will be using actual location with the confines of the player, Express UK reported.
The "Pokémon Go" game premise is still the same with the other Pokémon titles. Players can then train their respective Pokémon characters to be battle ready and level up accordingly. The only difference is, one needs to catch one first using either an iOS or Android device.
Nintendo, the "Pokémon Go" developer also prepared a wearable device that can be used during the gameplay. It will be called "Pokémon GO Plus." The wearable device can then be used to control specific actions in the game, even when players are not looking directly on their smart phones. Though the wearable is an optional tool, one can still play the game without the "Pokemon Go Plus."
The Pokémon Company's Tsunekazu Ishihara, president and CEO, said "It has always been our goal for player actions, such as searching for or trading Pokémon, to promote socialization across both the virtual world and the real world, in order to further enrich both," Pokemon announced. The game was revealed during the "Pokémon GO" unveiling in Japan.
"Pokémon GO" will be downloadable via the App Store and Google Play at no charge, although in-app purchases might be necessary to enjoy the game to the next level.
