Fans who would like to purchase "Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Hearts of Stone" limited edition in North America will have to wait a bit longer to receive physical copies of the game.
According to CD Projekt Red forums, the game developer apologized for the delayed release of the limited edition, which will affect special boxed editions at GameStop outlets "all over America." The developed cited logistical issues as the major cause of the delay that will affect delivery of the game for a number of days after the release date.
The forum post continues to apologize for the inconvenience and assures that the developer is working in conjunction with GameStop to resolve the issue. Meanwhile, gamers can still buy the game digitally here if they want to play it on its launch date.
"Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Hearts of Stone" expansion has more than 10 hours of new content, including monsters, characters, a new storyline, and an exceptional romance that features player variety.
The game was well-received in GameSpot's review, although not to a larger extent as compared to the original game that earned an elusive 10 out of 10, with editor Mike Mahardy commending the game's clever dialogue and storytelling, intriguing quests, and the depth of the themes, GameSpot reported.
While it is not the biggest slice of extra content that is planned for the game including next year's Blood and Wine expansions that prove a far meatier experience, fans can still expect to receive about 10 hours adventure from the first update. The game also introduces the Runewright, an artisan of crafting all sorts of powerful weapon and armor improvements to help players on their quest.
As gamers play through the expansion, they will find themselves completing main quests together with side quests.
