Tech giants Motorola Mobility and Sony Mobile Communications recently released the Moto X Style and Sony Xperia Z5 smartphones, respectively. Both devices come with high-end specs and powerful cameras.
Here is the difference between the two new devices in terms of the specs and features.
Sony Xperia Z5
The Sony Xperia Z5 sports a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display screen with a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. The screen is protected by a scratch-resistant glass and is covered by an oleophobic coating.
The Xperia Z5 has a 5.1 megapixel front-facing shooter and a powerful 23 megapixel rear-facing camera that comes with the hybrid autofocus technology feature. This technology enables users to capture images in just 0.03 seconds, according to Sony.
In comparison with other devices, the Xperia Z5 camera overtook Apple's iPhone 6S and Samsung's Galaxy Note 4 handset, in recent camera tests carried out by image quality specialist DXO Mark. Inside, the Xperia Z5 packs a Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable memory storage, and a 2900 mAh battery.
Moto X Style
As for Motorola's latest smartphone, the Moto X Style sports a larger 5.7-inch display screen with a higher 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution, and protected by Gorilla Glass 3. This phone comes with a 5 megapixel camera on the front along with a slightly lower 21 megapixel primary camera in comparison with the Z5.
The main camera comes with many features such as the phase detect autofocus (PDAF) feature, dual color correlated temperature (CCT) flash, and tap-anywhere-to-capture capability, among others, according to Motorola.
Under the hood, the Moto X Style has a Qualcomm MSM8992 Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB RAM, up to 64GB of built-in memory, and a larger 3000 mAh battery. Like the Xperia Z5, the Moto X Style also runs on the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system (OS).
