They did not emerge on top in Tyra Banks' modelling competition "America's Next Top Model" but they transitioned into acting just like Analeigh Tipton and Yaya DaCosta. Here are three "ANTM" alums who have impressive acting resume:
1. April Wilkner
Wilkner appeared in several TV series "Guiding Light," "Lipstick Jungle," "Royal pains," "Golden Boy" and "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt." In 2014, she starred in the comedy film "Chasing Taste," which was directed by Sean Gannet.
Recently, Wilkner starred in Nicholas Brooks' romantic comedy "Sam" with Natalie Knepp, Sean Kleier and Morgan Fairchild.
In an interview with Baltimore Sun in 2010, former "ANTM" judge Nigel Barker said if inner beauty was the sole criteria on Banks' modelling competition, the ousted contestants who would have won are Wilkner, Bre Scullark and Fatima Siad.
2. Tocarra Jones
Before starring in the 2016 film "Supermodel" with Tyson Beckford, "The Young and the Restless" alum Tatyani Ali and fellow "ANTM" alum Don Benjamin, Jones appeared in several TV series including "All of Us," "Girlfriends," "Celebrity Paranormal Project," "Us vs. Them," "Are We There Yet?" and "Married, for Real?!"
3. Cassandra Whitehead
As an actress, Whitehead is known as Cassandra Jean. After quitting "ANTM" cycle 5, she starred in several TV series including "CSI: Miami," "Hannah Montana," "One Tree Hill," "NCIS: Los Angeles" and "Mad Men," among others.
The "ANTM" cycle 5 11th placer also appeared in one episode of "Hart of Dixie" season 2, which starred Rachel Bilson, who was recently named No Kid Hungry's newest No Kid Hungry Champions, E! News reported.
