"Cyberpunk 2077" exact release is yet to be announced. However, Jose Teixeira of CD Projekt Red recently revealed several information surrounding the upcoming game, indicating that the upcoming game will be grander than the highly successful game "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt."
"Cyberpunk 2077" is based on another action packed game "Cyberpunk 2020," which was created by Mike Pondsmith. While the "Cyberpunk 2077 game developers didn't give more information, they hinted some possibilities about the upcoming role-playing video game.
After the unveiling of "Cyberpunk 2077," the Poland-based game developer concentrated their efforts on creating the "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt," which was released just five months ago. The third and seemingly last installment to "The Witcher" franchise became a major success, having sold over six million copies. The success is due to its open world gamefield which the gamers really enjoy.
"Cyberpunk 2077," according to reports, will be 35 percent greater than "The Witcher 2." CD Projekt Red's visual effects artist, Jose Teixeira, made the following comments during his interview with Gamespot, saying "Cyberpunk is far bigger than anything else that CD Projekt Red has done before... far, far bigger."
"Working on 'The Witcher 3' was a really good and often brutal learning experience. 'Cyberpunk' is going to benefit greatly from it. I can almost guarantee it," he added.
"Cyberpunk 2077" release date has not been officially confirmed. However, the upcoming game may be available on the PC platform in 2017, IGN reported. Borrowing liberally from the works of William Gibson and other mirrorshades writers, the world of Cyberpunk 2020 is distinctly 80s in tone.
