According to a PC-Tablet report, a beta version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow for Samsung Galaxy S6 is already ready but Samsung has not yet released the update on its Galaxy S6 handsets for testing.

The search giant Google has rolled out the Android Marshmallow update to its Nexus devices. It is likely that the South Korean company will roll out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow updates to its devices pretty soon.

Several reports suggest that Android M will come to Galaxy S6 before the end of this year. However, other Samsung devices will get the Android Marshmallow update later next year.

Recently, Samsung has released Android 5.1.1 Lollipop updates to its devices. Therefore, Android Marshmallow update may come later than anticipated. The Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update included fixes to bugs such as the Stagefright vulnerability. According to reports, the recent Stagefright bug targets MP4 and MP3 files to secretly access handsets.

To solve the Stagefright vulnerability, the company will continue to roll out Android 5.1.1 Lollipop updates to its devices before releasing Android Marshmallow.  The Android M update will bring new features and improvements such as app permissions, Android Pay, an improved phone dialer app, a power-saving feature and enhanced Google Now on Tap.

Various reports suggest that Samsung will roll out the Android 6.0 M updates to owners in South Korea first. After that, the company will roll out the update to the users in the South Asia, United Kingdom, United States and other countries.

Meanwhile, according to Gizmodo, users of LG G4 in Poland will be the first to receive the Android Marshmallow update.
