With the recent wedding between Angelababy and Huang Xiao Ming, rumors about Angelababy's beauty being the result of plastic surgery have once again resurfaced. However, these rumors have been put to rest after medical professionals examined her face on Oct. 15 and determined it did not undergo any cosmetic surgery.
Ever since Angelababy entered the showbiz industry as a teen, there have been rumors that her captivating looks were the product of plastic surgery.
In 2012, a beauty clinic ran an article claiming Angelababy went under the knife after images had circulated claiming to be the actress before her fame. She proceeded to sue the beauty clinic.
Her unique looks can be attributed to her multi-ethnic heritage. With her paternal grandfather being German, the actress is a quarter German and three-quarters Chinese.
Those looks earned Angelababy a modeling contract with Style International Management, a modeling agency that signed her when she was just 14.
Regarding Angelababy's looks, Huang joked in 2014 that his then-fiancé can actually look ugly at times. However, he said that he loves her both when she is beautiful and when she is ugly and that her most attractive feature is her cute personality.
After six years of dating, Angelababy and Huang married on Oct. 8 in a high-profile wedding that cost 200 million yuan ($31.5 million), according to reports.
Angelababy's beauty has also graced the big screen, appearing in several Chinese films like "Young Detective Dee: Rise of the Sea Dragon" and "Crimes of Passion."
She also made her Hollywood debut this year with "Hitman: Agent 47," and is set to follow it up by starring in "Independence Day: Resurgence."
