New "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" spoilers will have Lex Luthor creating OMAC and Michael Shannon revealing General Zod's role in the film.
A new rumors has surfaced regarding the secondary villain in "Batman V Superman" as Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) likely take on the OMACs in the film. In main DC comics the OMACs are humans that have been transformed into cybernetic super soldier to combat super powered beings. They were originally created by the Defense Department and LexCorp to fight super powered threats using the Braniac Virus, but eventually became rogue and starting infecting other people during the "Infinity Crisis" storyline.
It is speculated that Lex Luthor might be responsible for creating the OMACs using General Zods DNA and several Krytopnian technology after the events of "Man of Steel", CosmicBookNews reported. Several fans also speculated that the new color scheme in the LexCorp sign hinted the easter egg for OMAC as the colors used there were blue and red sharing the OMACs color scheme within the comics.
With Lex Luthor making OMAC in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" it seems that the rumored General Zod/Doomsday rumor have some what put to rest by many fans.
However, "99 Homes" star Michael Shannon revealed new details on whar purpose will General Zod have on the film. Shannon Cinemablend that General Zod will appear as a "ghost" appearing within the film similar to Jor-El (Russel Crowe) in "Man of Steel".
Jor-El explained that Kryptonians have the technology to transfer their consciousness into computer systems giving them a form of technology, but it is speculated that General Zod's ghost could be made from Superman's morality and sense of guilt seeing that he is still haunted about killing him.
It was rumored before that that Zod's corpse could be the catalyst for Lex Luthor to create Doomsday so that he could defeat Superman in "Dawn of Justice".
"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be release in cinemas on March 25, 2016.
