The director added that although the game will have changes, these changes will not alter the manner in which the game is played like being a shooter game. The new components in the game may change, but the developers will ensure that it would still remain the same "Final Fantasy" game loved by fans.

Among the changes that fans should expect seeing is the 3D experience that the entire development team is working on. Developing "Final Fantasy VII" remake has become a learning curve for director Nomura and the whole company, the game remaining special for everyone on the team.

Meanwhile, Square Enix's head Yoichi Wada teased that the company will only develop another game only if it exceeds the quality of the upcoming remake. As a result, enthusiasts should anticipate laying hands on a better quality remake versions of the original installment.

According to iDigital Times, 200 artists are preparing to release a five-disc remix album that features songs from the games in honor of the development of the upcoming remake.

Composers in the remix album include, Dale North (Dragon Fantasy Book II), Will Roget II (Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris), Francisco Cerda and John Robert Matz (Gunpoint), Jeff Ball (TimeSpinner), Smooth McGroove, Kyle Landry, String Player Gamer, Laura Intravia, and Kristin Naigus among others.

The fan prepared album titled "MATERIA: Final Fantasy VII" is a collection of 87 remixed best songs from the franchise. The album is accessible here for $19.99, Loudr and Spotify.
