Square Enix has released the trailer for "Final Fantasy XIV" Patch 3.1 for their first expansion "Heavensward." The 7-minute trailer titled "As Goes Light, So Goes Darkness" will be launched on November 10, 2015.
The FFXIV team earlier reported that the long wait is due to the break needed by their developers in order to get "Heavensward" up and running without a glitch, according to Twinfinite.
The group has had long nights and deserved some time off in order to recharge and replenish their creative juices so they can come back on board refreshed with new ideas.
The long wait is over FFXIV fans! In a couple of weeks, you will finally see what the developers have created for you.
According to Siliconera, there will also be a new collaboration event with "Final Fantasy XI" on November 11.
Some of the highlights of the game include Exploratory Missions (The Diadem), which is an open area endgame zone similar to the adventures in Vana'Diel. There are Easy, Normal, and Hard levels for the missions.
There's also new Gold Saucer activities that includes the Lords of Verminion RTS attraction and some new mini-games.
You can also expect two new Expert Dungeons which features Saint Mocianne's Arboretum and Pharos Sirius Hard.
There will be the Vanu Vanu Beast Tribe Quests, the Void ark, and the Minstrel's Ballad: Thordan's Reign (the final battle). Of course there will be Main Scenario Quests with fiery and feisty dragons.
You can get new hairstyles, too! And yes, afros included.
A new primal fight called Knights of the Round EX will be added and it will be way tougher than Ultima Weapon (Hard) and Ravana EX were. There will be reportedly "very good" weapons available for loot.
