Director Zack Snyder himself is set to appear in his forthcoming DC Comics film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."
In his interview with 411 Mania, Snyder said that fans would not see his face in the film, as he would just pick some things up. The director's revelation suggests that his cameo in the film would be in a minor approach. This is in contrary to Leigh Whannell's "Insidious: Chapter 3," as Whannel played Specs in the film's predecessors before he took the director's chair.
According to Cinema Blend, Snyder could be one of the bystanders who helped sift through debris following the battle between General Zod and Superman. While the filmmaker had his distinct style in promoting his films, it was not the first time he included himself in a film. He appeared as an anonymous soldier in the opening credits of "Dawn of the Dead" in 2004.
Back in September, Zack's son Eli Snyder was rumored to play the deceased Robin in his forthcoming film; however, such rumors had been debunked by the director.
Meanwhile, Zack's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" serves as the path to the rise of the superhero team Justice League. The film stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, Jesse Eisenberg, and Amy Adams, among others.
Zack's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is set to be aired in two separate teasers on Oct. 26 while the film is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on Mar. 25, 2016.
