David Ayer has released a brand new photo for Enchantress in his forthcoming DC Comics film "Suicide Squad."
Ayer tweeted a photo of Enchantress, who is played by Cara Delevingne, in the Dec. 15 issue of Empire Magazine on his official Twitter account. The director said in is caption that Enchantress was "making her own rules." Overall, Delevinge's photo as Enchantress has got more than 2,400 favorites and more than 2,000 re-tweets.
Delevingne's Enchantress look was both "sexy" and "kinda creepy," according to Cinema Blend. The actress-model's make-up was scruffy and grotesque, which prevents fans from deciphering that the character in the photo was actually Delevingne. While Enchantress looked scary in the cover photo, it her costume was different from the ones she wore in the comic books.
With the alter ego June Moore, The Enchantress was one of the "more mysterious" characters in Ayer's "Suicide Squad," as per Cinema Blend. However, not enough details have been revealed about the character and how she is going to make her own rules.
In her interview with Empire, Delevingne said that Enchantress was an ancient sorceress, a feral being. The actress added that her character had been trapped for so long and she was finally out. She added that Enchantress loved to seek adventure and excitement that she got what she had wished for, in a "terrible way," however.
Along with Delevingne, "Suicide Squad" also stars Viola Davis, Joel Kinnaman, Common, Scott Eastwood, Jay Hernandez, Adawale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Adam Beach, Karen Fukuhara, Jai Courtney, Will Smith, Jared Leto, and Margot Robbie, among others.
