An international Broadway producer wants to reach out to overnight Philippine sensation Maine Mendoza, also known as Yaya Dub.
According to GMA Network, Shea Arender heard about the Filipina actress from a friend in California who asked him to watch Mendoza's Dubsmash clips online.
Arender said that he found Mendoza really fun even though he doesn't understand most of the things she said.
In an interview with Pep.ph, Arender added that he's impressed with Mendoza's ability to make hilarious facial expressions.
"One of the most important things is to bring joy and make people happy, and she's doing a fantastic job!" he said.
Meanwhile, Arender also said that he wants to reach out to Mendoza so the two of them could discuss the possibility of working together in an upcoming Broadway show.
As of late, it seems that Arender hasn't contacted the Filipina actress' manager and network.
"I want to have a meeting with people managing Maine's career. It's not commonly done here - a Broadway musical based on a TV show," he said.
In other news, Arender revealed that his plan will focus mainly on how Mendoza was made even more popular by "Eat Bulaga."
"I want to keep this open. There's so much talent here, so many options. I see myself recording, doing an acting project with her," he said.
As of late, some Americans have already learned about Mendoza and his onscreen partner Alden Richards.
A video showcasing the Americans' reaction to the Filipina actress was recently posted online.
"Eat Bulaga" airs Mondays to Saturdays at 12 p.m. on GMA network.
