David Beckham was reportedly mistaken for "Derek" alum Ricky Gervais while working out in a gym in Los Angeles. Many thought the former Manchester United captain was Gervais and wished him well for being named host of the Golden Globe Awards in 2016.
A source told The Daily Star that Victoria Beckham's husband was not happy with the confusion. The source added, "In the end, he stormed off to the changing rooms with a bright red face and a very angry expression, refusing to talk to anyone else at all."
Recently, David was spotted with his wife and three children leaving Los Angeles. He was wearing a grey t-shirt and dark blue jeans with a green bomber jacket slung over his backpack, Mirror reported.
David and Victoria got engaged on Jan. 24, 1998 in Cheshunt, England and got married on July 4, 1999 at Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland. Both born in London, their first and second children Brooklyn Joseph Beckham and Romeo James Beckham were born in 1999 and in 2002, respectively.
Victoria gave birth to their daughter Harper Seven Beckham in Los Angeles in 2011. Harper's godfather is "Can't You Feel the Love Tonight" singer Elton John.
