"Persona 5" will feature new storylines for each main characters, as well as the game director giving out new gameplay details and support from the fans.
Game director Katsura Hashino gave an update on "Persona 5" and its development had outstanding results especially on the main characters reception during the trailers. Hashino added that it was a massive outpouring and that he and Atlus are happy for the support that the gaming fans, Venture Capital Post reported.
Aside from the game's recent status, "Persona 5" will feature several new game features such as "Sneak", "All-Out Attack" and Cooperation. Sneak allows gamers to sneak around obstacles and enemy units in the dungeon area, while Cooperation will serve as the game's social link and "All-Out-Attack" will allow the characters to gang up on enemy units.
"Persona 5" will also feature other game activities outside of the dungeon world such as going to school, riding on subways, playing baseball and even using phone apps or social media sites to find friends and enemy targets.
Hashino stated that he wanted gamers to experience the "big city" life within "Persona 5" similar to previous titles, while adding some new features and activities to make the sequel more interesting.
There are also rumors that the main characters such as Ryuji Sakamoto or Ann Takamaki will have their own in-game storyline to make the main plot interesting from their own point of view and discover more things about that character that the players do not know about, The Christian Today reported.
Atlus has change the launch date for "Persona 5" to next year as Hashino explained that the delay was necessary for them to develop the game further, making it the best game in the franchise. The game's plot will involve four high school teenagers who are students by day and phantom thieves at night. Together with a talking cat named Morgana and receiving each of their Persona powers, they embark on a mission to steal the hearts of corrupt individuals in order to save the world from eternal darkness.
"Persona 5" will launch in the summer 2016 in Japan and sometime in 2016 in the United States for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 consoles.
