Earlier reports suggested that the tech giant Apple will release MacBook Pro 2016 and MacBook Air 2016 sometime next year. However, according to latest reports, the next-generation MacBook products may arrive before the end of this year.
Rumors suggest that the two devices can be released before the annual Black Friday shopping event. The change in the dates of release could arise from the poor sales performance of the earlier laptop products. Several reports suggest that the MacBook product sales have declined by 3.4 % each year.
According to Latinos Post, the new MacBook Air will come in two variants - one model with a 15-inch screen and another model with a 13-inch display. In addition, the device will have the new OS X El Capitan, a better battery life, the latest Type-C USB port and an Intel Skylake-U chipset.
It is expected that the MacBook Air 2016 will be slimmer compared to the earlier MacBook Air release. Also, the device will be equipped with the new Force Touch technology.
The MacBook Pro 2016 will feature Intel's Skylake processor, Neurogadget reported. The new processor could provide better battery efficiency for the MacBook Pro 2016 and allow for it to exhibit a thinner design.
Various reports suggest that the new MacBook Pro may run the latest version of the OS X El Capitan right out of the box. In addition, the device could have the Nvidia GeForce GTX 950 graphics card.
It is expected that the device will sport a pair of Type-C USB ports.
The launch date of MacBook Air 2016 and MacBook Pro 2016 will be revealed in the coming days.
