Amazon has started its Black Friday deals, and it includes a Sony Xperia deal.
Sony is offering an unlocked 16GB Xperia M4 Aqua for just $200 from Amazon. Sony’s Xperia M4 Aqua was unveiled back in March 2014. It was thrown into the competitive mid-range smartphone market with a big price point at $350 unlocked. The device has never been worth the premium price point the company was asking for it.
Now, Amazon slashes a $150 off the phone’s price at launch. However, the catch here is that, it is only compatible with GSM networks, meaning users need to be under AT&T or T-Mobile (or other GSM MVNOs) to use it, according to Android Authority. The handset also comes with a warranty available in the United States.
The Xperia M4 Aqua features a 5-inch HD display with a 720 x 1280 screen resolution and 294 ppi. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 CPU and an Adreno 405 GPU with 2GB of RAM for memory. It offers a 16GB of internal storage but can be expanded upon with a microSD card up to 128GB of external storage.
Its 2400mAh battery can last two days in standard usage, and it carries an IP68 certification, meaning it is dust and waterproof up to 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes, making it less of a worry over life’s unpredictable moments like rain, sweat, and spills.
Xperia M4 has 13MP rear camera with excellent low-light ability and on the front it sports a 5MP camera features a wide-angle lens for some great selfie shots, Android Headlines reported.
