Rumors claimed that the much talked about MacBook Pro 2016 release will take place in December. The rumor was sparked by the new Mac code spotted in El Capitan.
Australia Network News cited Pike's Universum, which spotted a new Mac code heavily points to a new MacBook Pro. However, the developer is also mulling whether the code is meant for other Apple products like iMac and Mac Pro
"The data is identical to that of the late 2015 (iMac 17,1 in the same file) so it might as well be a remnant of the new iMac, but the strange thing is that the XHCI data for the late 2015 iMac is also there... there are too many USB 3 ports defined to fit on a MacBook [Pro] and Mac Mini. This and the fact that there is already support for newer graphics chips [baked] into El Capitan... is why I think that it was added for a new Mac Pro," the post reads.
Consumers are not only waiting for the MacBook Pro 2016, but for MacBook Air 2016 as well. The latter is also rumored to be released either later this year or early next year.
Another indication that the new MacBooks are coming is the price cuts made on the device. The two laptops were released last spring, but it already received a lot of discounts.
MacBook Air and Pro 2016 are rumored to retain the sizes of the original, but will be packed with powerful specs and features, including the latest Intel Skylake processors. The laptops will also run with the latest OS X El Capitan.
However, there is still no word from Apple regarding the details of the two MacBooks.
