Producer Charles Roven has revealed how Patty Jenkins' "Wonder Woman" might link to Zack Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."
Roven is one of the producers of Jenkin's upcoming DC Comics film "Wonder Woman." In his interview with Collider, Roven explained that Wonder Woman in Jenkins' film would have been an pre-evolution of the same character in Snyder's film. For the producer, fans would realize how the character had transformed what they had been in the film that they had been first introduced.
While Roven had not directly talked about Jenkins' upcoming solo "Wonder Woman" film, his explanation suggested that the film could have been a prequel, according to Cinema Blend. As per the publication, it is assumed that "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" sees Princess Dianna Prince along with Batman and Superman and "Wonder Woman" would reveal the reason why she was in the former film.
Prior to her solo "Wonder Woman" film, Gal Gadot is set to debut her character in Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." The actress is set to share the screen with Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, Jesse Eisenberg, and Amy Adams, among others, in Snyder's film.
Gadot is also joined by "Star Trek" actor Chris Pine, who is set to play the role of Steve Trevor, Wonder Woman's love interest. Academy Award winner Nicole Kidman has also been reported to be part of the "Wonder Woman" cast, playing the role of a high ranking Amazon.
Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on Mar. 25, 2016. Meanwhile, Jenkin's "Wonder Woman" hits theaters on June 23, 2017.
